Carevan Blacktown Christmas
Jingle Bells 🦌 … Christmas is almost upon us and Carevan have been the recipient of the most extraordinary love, care and donations this year, like never before … schools, individuals, businesses and of course our regular supporters and amazing volunteers .. old and new ..
We have been shown ENORMOUS support for our seasonal 🎄🎄🎄venture with food drives, gifts and offers of help in the lead up to this Tuesday’s celebration from all across the community .. and there are not enough words to express our gratitude .. but you know we’ll try 😉.. there’s much to be done in this last few days and the list of Santa’s ‘nice’ list is grows daily and is exhaustive … we will share this in next week’s posting when the tinsels being dusted off and we’ve time to reflect and share pics and proper thanks to everyone involved 🥰
Suffice to say at this point, that there is NO Santa’s ‘naughty’ list ! We are blessed to be a part of this truly benevolent, generous and AMAZING community, where people in need are NOT overlooked or uncared for, where charities such as ours don’t even have to ask to be granted donations and care the like and size of which is quite staggering and where, as the conduits of this love between community and the people in need, we have only to manage the logistics between donation and plate or hampers.💚
Our green team, working very hard behind the scenes over the past month or more, to put this together and we thank you all .. it is a special thing to be a part of… and there’s more to be done .. the Carevan cookies hard at work 👨🍳👩🍳🧑🍳 and final touches and loading of the sleigh/s and checking the lists twice .. happening over these last couple of days … thanks to ALL!
Our Christmas celebrations will be this Tuesday commencing at 6pm at the Lalor Park Hall.. this is an earlier start than normal.. so remind your friends, neighbours and anyone you think would like to come and share the information. EVERYONE is welcome at the Carevan communal table 🎉
We will provide a Christmas meal, food hampers, gifts for men & women and toys for kids… and Santa too.. or even Mrs Claus ..There will be outdoor seating as well as within the hall and carol singers… it will be a lovely festive event. 🎄

We will also be serving a Xmas day morning BBQ breakie with hampers Sunday 25th 0830-1030 .. but more on this next week 💚🎁🦌💚
