Winter’s Chill

It’s chilly and winter has definitely settled in in Sydney town

So many people in our local community are facing the cold without the basic comfort of warmth.

We are committed to supporting individuals and families doing it tough in all kinds of practical ways and, at this time of the year, we need your help to provide some extra layers of warmth.

We are running a Blanket Appeal to collect new or clean, gently used blankets, warm clothing and apparel to distribute to those experiencing homelessness or severe financial hardship.

A warm blanket can make a significant difference for someone sleeping rough or struggling to heat their home ~ or themselves!!

We would love it if you could help with ~

Donating a blanket or two (new or ‘gently used’)

Host a collection point at your workplace, school, or community group

Spread the word about our appeal to friends, family, and local networks

Alternatively, we can purchase blankets on your behalf if you’d like instead to donate funds (get in touch via email info@carevanblacktown.org.au) and we’ll help with this kindness!
